I think Barker is also 10% download capacity, same as Locke. 10% download should be fine. In this case the school has 750 students, assuming about 1/4 are graduating seniors that's around 188 and the article said they expect the whole ceremony to last 6-7 hours. 180 kids in 6 hours just to make it easy is 30 per hour or 1 every two minutes. The Skimobile lift being used is a 1995 Doppelmayr HSQ with 83 chairs so I'd assume they're going to space the kids out every 8-10 chairs and stop it for unloading/loading simultaneously at top and bottom. It will make for a long ride both ways.... They use the skimobile express for foot traffic more often than most chairs. They have the Ghoullog in October each year that up/downloads with the event at the top and on mountain. Ironically, it went in during the brief time it was an LBO/ASC holding. Mrs. Mach and I skied there quite a bit when we bought our first house and the BoothCreek Threedom pass was around. They still used SR7 guns on a few of the runs, always had the best snow if they were making the days we skied on those. Fun little hill.

Yes, apparently for some reason Doppelmayr has some excess construction crew capacity this year.

Looks like they pulled all the cabins on the chondi. Wonder if they will allow downloading on the chairs when used for weddings this summer. I have wanted chair downloading for years. The line gets long up top some times in the summer and fall

The line gets long up top some times in the summer and fall The problem with DH chairs on the chondi is the load/unload sides at the top and bottom are designed to stabilize the cabins, thus the track is sub-platform grade and not set up as is for foot traffic. They could probably build some type of wood deck structure to level it tot he rest of the platform and cover the stabilizer rails for the cabin load/unload. In the past they never done that as they planned to use the cabins all year. Now, given the virus, they could potentially do that if they plan to keep the cabins parked all season.

Thanks Macheraina for the insight. I knew of the gaps for the cabins. It is just like the uploading for the mid station on Locke; If I can jump into an open space, let me on. If you don't feel comfortable, wait for the next empty chair or in the chondi's case a cabin.

Spaffy, no not the same. Midstation loading and use is coded in ANSI. DH loading of a Chondi chair is not. Big difference with respect to liability there.

Those are the easy pours. The hard part is building the temp road to the top terminal site to pour the return stations footing. Their schedule has been very smooth to date, Boyne will likely wish they proceeded on the Kanc8 install this year. After all, that is a much easier location for install, at least in talking about the return terminal foundation pour.

The road to get a concrete truck up to the return terminal will take another 3-4 dry days. Road to the return terminal area has been completed and this morning the first cement truck deliveries commenced. Kennebago quad is even moving in this video. I'm buying a test drive pass! www.facebook.com/100009992256259/videos/1213685368974527/

Ahhh that is what those 4 precast concrete structures in the south ridge parking lot are for. Not sure about install but some parts are at mountain

8 precast structures in the south ridge parking lot. Steel parts for RFID installs are in barker parking decks. Better get them on installed and out of the parking...lifts open in just 79 days
