Oh boy, the first refurbed and relocated HSQ Boyne and Dopp did together had a grip slip yesterday on Shedhorn at Big Sky. Loaded chairs too, thankfully just out of the base terminal.

Oh boy, the first refurbed and relocated HSQ Boyne and Dopp did together had a grip slip yesterday on Shedhorn at Big Sky. Loaded chairs too, thankfully just out of the base terminal. Yikes, that had to be scary for those on the chairs! I saw this article.. what a bummer on a powder day especially! 14 inches of snow and it took hours to evac the chair. Also closed the lone peak tram as well due to staff being utilized for this incident. liftblog.com/2024/04/17/shedhorn-at-big-sky-evacuated-following-chair-collision/

Short and actually this lift is being purchased by Riverwalk Resort and will be operated by Loon (same as the Rivers Edge Double at South Peak now). Remains to be seen if the pulse Gondi will be reserved for Riverwalk owners and guest or if public will have access. It does make Loon the first Eastern resort to be directly linked to its associated town.
