Springsteen said that he and Prine were the new Dylan's back in the mid 70's. He was spot on.

New PJ, A+. Mach, let me know what you think.....great to have some new music to listen too. Yeah, one of their best efforts of late. Have to listen to it more yet, but I think I like "Who Ever Said" the best. Love the guitar work on it. Local connection - another album mastered at Gateway in Portland

Yeah, one of their best efforts of late. Have to listen to it more yet, but I think I like "Who Ever Said" the best. Love the guitar work on it. Local connection - another album mastered at Gateway in Portland Bob Ludwig has a brought a lot of really great music and bands to Portland. A master Masterer
I took some audio engineering classes at Gateway. Ludwig only sat in on, or taught a few of the classes , but I was blown away by his "Vault" of master recordings. Also, while I was taking his class, a not yet known band from Seattle was in Portland overseeing the mastering of NEVERMIND. Nirvana was banned from ever staying at the Sonesta hotel again.

Music unites us. Jerry and Carlos rip through a fantastic African-flavored version of Fire on the Mountain...

Any of you listen to WMVY from Martha's Vinhard? I listen to it on Iheartradio. Really good mix of things and it brings me back to the days I used to go at least twice a year.

The Black Pumas are doing a live concert Thursday
I consider them one of the best new bands in our country right now.

I'm guessing most of you hate the music I post, but, I like to look forward
The first 6 minutes of this next song, I believe is a straight up tribute to Pink Floyd, then michael kiwanuka starts his song
