Was nice to see music upstairs at White Cap again. Hope they put some sort of lift-elevator in though. Lugging all that equipment up there ... saw a couple of folks with crutches also.

We never made it. Did they have to limit capacity up there? I remember that whole idea collapsed under the mountain as upstairs White Cap didn't meet fire escape codes for the capacity they hoped to use for concerts anyway.

I spoke with the manager of music and said 400 Capacity ! Surprised but he said they sold 350 tickets for the Dead cover band

You know I have never seen them. I used to see the Massachusetts based Slipknot dead cover band and of course DSO. How do they compare to DSO?

Take that part out and I can get into it. No comparison I can draw on, but they had mad skills.

I worked with the guys from Slipknot back in the day, used to go see them all the time. Did you ever see them at Chet’s Diner? MDP is as good a dead cover band as I’ve ever seen. DSO kinda stands alone in my book, but MDP is right up there.

I used to see Slipknot at a fish and game club out in Metro west somewhere. You could BYOB so it was always out of control. Those were some good times. We would go to the show and then go to a friends house and do our own jam. Skijamma would remember this.

Long gone now, but same town as Chet’s (still there) and was 5 mins from where I grew up (and was living for a while right after college). We were probably at a few of the same gigs. Those were good times.
