They really stretched the jams inbetween songs and played fast. They all pretty much sang also. Better then most of the cover bands out there. Stretching the jams....exactly! Take that part out and I can get into it. No comparison I can draw on, but they had mad skills. If they just played the songs like the albums with no jams that would be boring as hell, I enjoyed it not saying I want 15 minute jams between every song but thought they did a perfect amount.

I especially enjoyed the second set. Hope the live music continues upstairs at White Cap next year as well.

I hope so was fun. Just need to let people crack the windows a bit - booted up there day after a show - held my breath and then un-booted in lobby - it was awful.

Speaking of long jams...
On March 10,2020 Derek Trucks broke out Duane Allmans 1957 Gold Top Les Paul known as “Layla” to play at the opening of set two for the 50th anniversary of the Allman Brothers celebration at MSG - the set opened with Mountain Jam and Derek kept it on stage thru Blue Sky (the next song).

Nice watch. Layla sure sounded just as sweet as she did 60 years ago.

I watched the whole show live on pay per view...was so good, 4+ hours including the set break. Really wished I could have been there in person (was one of if not the last show in NYC in front of a full/live audience for a while) but was well worth the $29.99 for the virtual experience.

This was the lineup. Warren handled most of the vocals although Chuck Leavell sang Blue Sky...
Derek Trucks - guitar Warren Haynes - guitar Oteil Burbridge - bass Marc Quinones - percussion Jaimoe - drums Duane Trucks (Derek’s brother and Butch’s nephew) - drums Reese Wynans (from SRV’s band Double Trouble) - keyboards Chuck Leavell - paino
