You getting a pass next year Zenny? Time to start hanging more at SR for Team Zenny If I did then I would probably go through MASR.

Just bought my MT Hood Timberline Spring Pass. Good until May 30th. Went up to $237 this year, but Mid May is the plan for one more trip. Two more Platinum passes for us. Will do that soon. The Discount ticket thing at 50% was never real. it was off full price ticket prices. You never really got 50% off. Half the specials they offered were better. Not much Value in that program IMO. Only did it a few times. The Pass I think is still a great Value with the IKON base. Platinum 50% discount gone? Now 12 tickets at 25% - I have platinum currently, for us it worked well as we had family over the holidays and 50% off is a pretty good benefit. I can't find a $64 online ticket the "day of" they decide to ski.

Nonetheless, it had the advantage of last minute flexibility - decision to ski and discounted purchase could both be made in the morning of the ski day, gave good flexibility at a reasonable price. Plus, the 50% off was taken off of a lower off a lower rate non-peak season. My son's tickets with the 50% discount were $42 a day the week before Christmas. For me, it had value. But, the inclusion of the Ikon Base Pass is still a great value in my view.

Probably 2 Gold for us and Indy's possibly as well. That is unless I never leave CB.

Wow, was just looking at the NEP details, a bunch of small changes to the lower tiers that are kind of cool. Silver and Nitros at checkout can add either a New England unrestricted 2 or 3 day pass for $150 or $219 respectively to wipe out two or three blackout days. Thinking with my work schedule flying me on at least half, we may go this route and save about $450 or so.
For Bronze passes, they will now open up early season weekend access thru December 10th at SR and SL, then open late season weekends March 20 and on at all three. Loon likely left out of early weekends due to crowding on limited terrain and parking (South Peak has never opened that early).

Mach where did you get your PhD in season pass shopping?
Kidding of course, but it seems like that’s what it takes these days to figure out all the various options especially for those of you who regularly venture away from SR/Boyne. 🤷♂️

Wish there was Sunday River only pass - 100 days + over the past two season at SR only. Why go anywhere esle? While some of us here would surely see value in that type of offering, I'm certain with EPIC offerings in NE, Boyne does not. If Shawnee's facilities could have handled a large influx of guests, I have no doubt Boyne would have added it to the NEP next year. But the reality is Shawnee couldn't, it would have in all likelihood played out similar to the situation at Sunapee this season with traffic jams and parking full up by 9am. Could happen someday though, will have to watch as Ikon and Alterra's owned resorts continue to evolve on the model. Both DV and Crystal now require their own pass and at a substantial cost for unlimited access with the option to add up to full Ikon priveledges beyond. I can see a couple other Alterra owned resorts pivoting to this model in the not too distant future. Will this start an industry trend? Maybe, guess we have to see how hard Vail takes it in pass sales and from Wall Street moving forward. (Oh yeah, the locals hate Vail out here at CB, even though this resort of the 4 we visited seems to be operating the best. I guess Vail shutting the lifts after April 2nd is rubbing folks rough since that is 2 weeks earlier than normal and CB has the most snow of Vail properties in CO).

Two platinum for us with a trip to Zermatt and chamomix already being planned I hope you guys are planning more that a week for that adventure. The train and logistics of Zermat take up some time. If I did that trip I would go for 2 weeks or at least 10 days. Make sure to let us know your dates. We have talked about going maybe next year if they get the Grand Montet cable car done but it does not look like we will see that until 23/24 season. Either way it would be fun to ski with people over there. This will be our 4th trip.

For anyone else who grabbed an Indy Pass next season, they just added BMOM as a full partner resort for both Alpine and Nordic! It's a great second pass to have of you want to drift around the Northeast a bit for short $$ and even gets you a few cool areas out west. A big area is dropping on the West Coast soon too.
