Good work, if you can get it
Watson Suspended 11 Games and Fined $5 Million in Sexual Misconduct Case
Deshaun Watson’s compensation for this year was mostly a $45 million signing bonus. The structure minimized the amount of overall pay he could be docked for missing games while serving a suspension. The 11-game suspension is expected to cost Watson $632,500 of his $1.035 million base salary.

The Falcons, Texans & Panthers are in a tight battle for worst team in the league, but Russell Wilson and the Broncos coaching staff are making a their best attempt at a run for that title.

Too early to paint those as the only bottom feeders. Uness they tiem either the Raiders or the Titans will be 0-3 after Sunday. Indy hasn't looked great either but they are still percentage points thanks to the tie over Bengals who are apparently still on their SB appearance hangover. Seems to me there isn't a ton of parity in the NFL currently.

3-0 Dolphins the only undefeated team in the AFC after beating the Bills. They kept it interesting with the "butt punt" which was blocked by their own player in the end zone and resulted in a safety.

Odd year so far. So, is it the Brian Hoyer show for the Pats now?

Odd year so far. So, is it the Brian Hoyer show for the Pats now? I think they'll tape up Mac's ankle and shoot him full of painkillers. Or it might be numb anyway when they play in Green Bay. Hoyer isn't the worst backup to have, and he should know the playbook inside out since he's been with the Pats off and on for at least 7 seasons.

Are we on the cusp of seeing something simar to the Bledsoe to Brady saga repeating at Foxboro? BB's comments about BZ post game almost suggest Mac's venue as starter may not be guaranteed when he can play again.

NFL teams are always looking for their next QB and Pats seem to be a good source of them. Maybe Zappe will get a chance to start elsewhere like former backups Jimmy G and Jacoby Brissett if Mac Jones heals up and gets his starting job back.

Assuming Mac isn't ready again this week and Zappe shows some more growth, this will be interesting to see. Zappe doesn't cost Pats as much currently as a 4th rounder vs Mac. Could be Mac getting shopped, BB praise for Zappe has been too high and in the intelligence department to boot to let him go I think.

Tom Brady broke another record last night - reaching 555 sacks, which makes him the most-sacked QB in NFL history. Ben Roethlisberger previously held the record. Tampa Bay is on a 3 game losing streak and if rumors are right then his marriage may be getting sacked soon too.

His brand is only heading downhill. He got all the credit for winning and now he doesn't seem to like taking the blame for losing. Throwing shit around on the sideline.....really? It's pretty clear the whole GOAT thing is a marketing gimmick and that it takes more than having Tom Brady on your team to win. Worse yet, he's cemented his image as a narcissistic, self-centered asshole in the way he's mis-managed his personal life. With the current crop of QBs that are actually athletes, nobody will remember who he is in 5 years. Should have called it after his last Super Bowl.

Anyone forget who Troy AIkman was, how about Dan Marino (never even won a SB) or John Elway? How about Roger Stauback, Terry Bradshaw, Joe Montana. ANy of those ring a bell? Brady won't be forgotten Rippy no matter hw much you desire. Yeah, I too hate the sideline dramatics when they lose. Its been a tough year for TB, from complete dime balls dropped by Evans in the clear to zero running game (same thing plagued NE losing to the Bears). It was obvious to me the maritial thing was on the rocks or over when he came back, that had be a known thorn for GB for years now. Lossing one love, have to try and cling to the other I guess. I do get that, pretty sure if my wife and I ever split, I'd totally immerse myself in skiing for the next year plus every day I possibly could outside of work.
